Wacky Pineapple Cake

This sweet cake is a great treat for
dessert or breakfast. Looks cool too!
Cake Ingredients

2 cups flour
|
|
2 tsp. baking soda
|
|
1 large can crushed pineapple
{not drained}
|
|
1 ¾ cups sugar
|
|
1 tsp. Vanilla
|
|
Flour and oil for greasing pans
|
Icing Ingredients
|
1 small can Pet milk
|
|
1 stick margarine
|
|
¾ cup confectioners
sugar
|
|
Few drops of vanilla
|
|
1 small can crushed pineapple,
drained
|
Preparation
- Mix all
cake ingredients together and pour into large greased and floured
liner pan.
- Bake in
Dutch Oven for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
- To make
icing, boil all ingredients except pineapple 3 minutes; let cool.
- When cake
is baked and slightly cooled, punch holes in cake and pour icing
over cake.
- Decorate
top of cake with small can of crushed pineapple.
Note: This recipe makes two round layers and enough icing for both.
